Our Programs

Training for every age and experience level — from first-timers to competitors

Kids Program

Our Kids Program is structured around three age groups, each with a curriculum designed to build confidence, coordination, and character through BJJ fundamentals.

🦈 Baby Sharks Ages 4–7

Introduction to movement, mat awareness, and basic grappling concepts in a fun, safe environment built for the youngest learners.

Jaguars Ages 8–11

Core BJJ techniques, positional awareness, and partner drilling. Students develop discipline and focus while learning to work as part of a team.

Lions / Teens Ages 12–15

Higher-intensity instruction that bridges youth and adult BJJ. Teens learn competition-ready techniques and develop mental resilience on the mat.

Beginners Class

Designed specifically for those new to BJJ. No experience is required — just the willingness to learn. The Beginners Class covers foundational solo drills including falling, hip movement, and stand-ups, building the motor patterns every BJJ practitioner needs.

  • Solo drills: falling, hip movement, and stand-up techniques
  • Structured curriculum for white belt stripes through blue belt
  • Optional situational drilling as students grow comfortable
  • Emphasis on technique over strength from day one

Fundamental Class

The Fundamental Class is the backbone of our curriculum and is open to all levels, from white belt to black belt. It focuses on the most important techniques in BJJ, ensuring every student has a solid base to build upon.

  • Core techniques practiced across all belt levels
  • Exam curriculum covering blue belt through brown belt
  • Structured lesson plans developed by Professor Marangoni
  • Perfect complement to both the Beginners and Advanced classes

Advanced Class

The Advanced Class is designed for students who are ready to elevate their game. Open to 4-stripe white belts and above, this 1 hour 15 minute session is higher intensity with more live rounds than the Fundamental class.

  • Open to 4-stripe white belts and above
  • 1 hour 15 minutes per session, including live sparring rounds
  • Higher intensity to challenge and accelerate development
  • Builds on the technical base developed in Fundamental classes

No-Gi Class

Train in shorts and a rash guard. No-Gi BJJ removes the grip advantages that come with a gi and demands faster, more dynamic technique. Our No-Gi class covers the full BJJ curriculum without a uniform.

  • Attire: shorts and rash guard (no gi required)
  • Full curriculum from takedowns through leg entanglements
  • Develops speed, athleticism, and adaptability
  • Great cross-training for Gi practitioners and wrestlers alike

Competition Class

Built for students who want to test their skills on the competition mat. The Competition Class prioritizes live training, game-plan development, and mental preparation under pressure-tested conditions.

  • 60–70% live rounds and situational drilling
  • 30–40% drilling and game-plan development
  • No set curriculum or exam — training is results-focused
  • Guided by Professor Marangoni's extensive competition experience
